Courtney has a B.A. in English Literature and a Diploma in Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts/Breadmaking. Holistic health and nutrition are her passions, natural and organic are her two favorite words, and farmers markets make her heart sing. She lives in beautiful Vancouver, BC with her husband where they hike, bike, and hit the beach—but jump at any chance to travel and explore the food and culture of other countries as well! When it comes to gift giving, she likes getting creative in the kitchen and baking yummy treats or going all out by cooking a fancy meal.

Essa has an MA in English, with a concentration in creative writing. A New England native, she traded blizzards for hurricanes in 2010 when she relocated to Central Florida. She now spends her free time attempting to grow temperamental orange trees and keeping her 9-pound Maltese away from roving alligators. Her favorite thing about Elfster is the secret santa app. Her go-to gift is handmade jewelry, especially the kind that incorporates natural stones with a lot of symbolism and healing properties, like amethyst and rose quartz.

Teresa is an adoptive mom of three kids. She’s an author of many family and children’s books and has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Mass Communications from the University of Central Missouri. She has led family, community, and regional adoption events for over 15 years and now lives with her husband, kids, and pets in southern Texas. Elfster’s Secret Santa generator is Teresa’s preferred approach to gift giving as one of her favorite childhood memories is of a Secret Santa gift exchange. She believes Elfster makes everything so much easier, more accessible, and joyful year around!

Jim L. is an author and editor. Originally from Missouri, the land of Mark Twain, Yogi Berra, Walter Cronkite and many other worthies, he has lived in various places and pursued a number of vocations: commercial artist, restaurant owner, land surveyor, civil engineer, land developer, editor and author. He has written engineering reports, business plans and news about business, health and the economy among other subjects. He is the senior editor for a publishing company, Mad Cow Press. Stephanie was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, which she'll gladly tell you about, prompted or not. She enjoys colorful expressions, loopholes in language and computer-lit evenings with Microsoft Word. When Stephanie's not mulling over age-old riddles of rhetoric, you can usually catch her traveling the globe (or the far reaches of Florida), reading up on world history, or bouncing ideas off her husband and her dog.
