what a cool idea.
micro led camping lantern

As far as mini-things go, this micro LED lantern is on the top of my favorites list. It's so darn cute! $12.95
It's bright enough to light up a tent (I haven't tested yet, but I have a feeling it's very dim lighting.). Lasts 25 hours of continuous use. Even has emergency strobe light capablity. What a fun stocking stuffer.
Flying Alarm Clock

Nothing like a flying propeller in mid-air above your head to get you jumping out of bed... The propeller will fly as high as nine feet. Should get them leaping out of bed. As for me? This might just motivate me to duck under the covers and definitely will not motivate me to get out of bed. The Flying Alarm Clock is $40.
Swiss Flip Satchel
A low-key, street-style bag that works for boys or girls, teens or adults. $15
Teens are probably the most difficult to buy gifts for. Trends change overnight, and you never know if it's the look of the 80's or the 90's or the 70's or the 80's again. I'm still waiting for those parachute pants to come back in style...
I do feel comfortable, though, recommending this Swiss logo messenger bag. Street culture is what's "in'" right now, and the bag definitely looks the part. What a rocking deal at $15.

hemp converse slip ons

I am surprised each and every time I am asked, "Did you lose your shoe laces?" Hmmm. I guess it's not that obvious they're sewn down to wear as slip-ons. These Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Slips are on my favorites list because they are the perfect casual street shoes - they don't discriminate age, sex or hipster/non-hipster. Very few street fashion items can do this. Amazingly, the environmentally conscious hemp actually looks good on this design. Again, very few things can achieve this.
Good news and bad news. The good news is they're on sale for $39.99 (good deal!). The bad news? They're discontinued and are available in three sizes only (Men's 4.5-6.5 or Women's 6.5-8.5). Sorry.spage-age ant habitat

Derived from a 2003 NASA experiment, this fascinating gel serves both as habitat and nutrition for your pet ants (ships directly to your home). The aquarium is 100% self-sustaining, so no worries about feeding or cleaning. The Ant Habitat Kit includes magnifying glass and extreme zoom lens for close-up viewing. $29.99
beanies, baby! [and not beanie babies]
When they announced a gift exchange for no more than $15, you thought to yourself, "Whoat?!? That's equivalent to three cups of Starbucks coffee. What can one buy for $15?"
Surprisingly, I've found some killer beanies ranging from $11 to $40. They're super fun, and they're quite useful during the winter months. Even better, most likely you will not see a duplication of this gift in the near future.
